Have you ever had one of those days? You know the kind I am talking about. All you want to do is lay on the couch, watch bad TV and order takeout. In fact, sometimes you eat chips and salsa for dinner because you don’t even want to deal with putting on a bra to answer the door for the delivery guy.
I want one of those days. Soon.
It’s hard to justify having a day where you do nothing and see no one, but my friends know that I sometimes need them. I need to be alone sometimes. I need to completely check out. I call them my hibernation days. Maybe it could also be called a mental health day, although I take those too (I usually go to the movies or lunch with friends when a mental health check is needed).
I’m thinking the hibernation day for me might be at some point this weekend. I strongly advise you all to do the same.
How do you justify “checking out”?
Today was Day Ten (or Day J) of the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge.
